Description We currently have exciting career opportunities in Brand Marketing Management for highly motivated, self directed, strategically minded individuals with strong business acumen and a proven track record in Brand Marketing. Our client’s are all blue-chip companies in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. We have various brand management opportunities in the following industry sectors: • Beverage • Personal Care • Household • Health and Wellness • Consumer Healthcare Purpose of the roles: Brand Strategy Development, Management & Implementation achieved through innovative consumer orientated strategies, project innovation, strong commercial insight in order to optimize brand equity, market share and business profitability. Key Performance Indicators: Develop, manage and build profitable consumer driven profitable brands by balancing commercial, customer and consumer motivations to deliver outstanding results Develop and implement brand plans and strategies to maximize brand growth Initiate and manage and drive brand relevant Innovation and New Product Development projects Develop and manage annual and monthly budgets, expenses and profitability and take corrective action where needed Develop and maintain brand blue prints, segmentation models and other classical marketing elements Monitor and forecast monthly sales and manage monthly stock levels to minimize write-off’s and expired stock Cross functional interaction with other business units such as Sales, Finance, Research & Development & Production Identify, motivate and manage Market Research projects and budgets to ensure required brand / category results are achieved Brief, co-ordinate and evaluate the development of suitable communication strategies with the assistance of BTL and ATL agencies Monitor and oversee above average service delivery levels of 3rd party agents Management of subordinate’s where applicable
Essential Requirements Minimum of 3 years brand management experience in with recognized companies in the FMCG or OTC markets
Strong commercial insight, strategic ability and numeric skills and the ability to calculate and manage brand profitability
Ability to successfully implement the principles of market segmentation, gap analysis, brand positioning
Budgetary control & cost control management
Experience in leading, coordinating and implementing new product innovation projects
Experience in initiating, implementing and coordinating consumer and/ or shopper research
Involvement in multi faceted project teams
Responsibility for the development of through-the-line media campaigns
Experience working with and successfully managing agencies / strategic partner relationships.

Innovative Team player
Promotional measurement and evaluation
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Computer literate on general office software i.e. excel, word, power point, outlook
Self directed and driven with the ability to excel in a fast paced and pressurized environment
Valid Drivers License

• Minimum qualifications:
• 3 year Commercial Degree (B Com or equivalent)
